A .digital fits agencies and teams delivering digital work: a studio building apps and interfaces, a consultancy automating processes, a manufacturer giving its digital arm a presence of its own next to the factory. The extension names the discipline where the company name does not.
There are no registration conditions. The distinction is broad, though: nearly every business does something digital now, so the extension only says something when the rest of your offer does not. If everything you do is already online, it adds little.
