.space

A .space works when the name is about a place: a coworking site letting desks, a maker space or studio, an event room booked on its own, an online community that describes itself as a space. The extension makes the place part of the address and adds what the name alone does not say.

There are no registration conditions. If your organisation is not about a space, physical or virtual, the distinction is thin: you would be using the extension mainly because the name was taken elsewhere, and visitors notice that.
